This custom map visualization displays current construction permit activity across the Coachella Valley. Using the latest in technology and our own tabulation and processing of agency permit data, we identify construction hot spots in a way we have not seen done before for the Coachella Valley. The result is a compelling depiction of over 170 construction projects totaling over 6,000 acres that helps us understand and predict local development trends, assists with environmental compliance, and facilitates agency coordination.
