Valley’s Leading Civil Engineer and Landscape Architect Join Forces

RANCHO MIRAGE, CA, January 01, 2019 – After decades of professional collaboration and mutual respect, the valley’s premier civil engineering and landscape architecture firms are making their relationship official.

MSA Consulting, Inc., planners, civil engineers and surveyors in the Coachella Valley since 1976, has acquired RGA Landscape Architects, Inc., a firm with its own 40-year history serving the desert. Following a successful transition, the RGA team has relocated to MSA’s Rancho Mirage headquarters, where it will now operate as RGA Landscape Architects, a Design Studio of MSA Consulting, Inc.

“Over the 40 years I’ve known him as a colleague and friend, Ron Gregory has demonstrated a commitment to his clients and employees that is exactly what we strive for at MSA,” said Bob Smith, MSA’s chair of the board and principal advisor. “Bringing his talented team aboard is an incredible opportunity to enhance the way we serve our clients and community.”

The acquisition enables MSA to add full-service landscape architecture to an expanded menu of in-house services while streamlining project management and improving coordination across disciplines.

The decision to join MSA took months of careful consideration and cooperative planning, according to Ron Gregory, RGA president. The new arrangement will allow RGA to focus on excellence in its core services and enable clients to benefit from the additional resources available at a larger firm.
