MSA Consulting is happy to introduce our newest featured employee: CADD Technician, Luis Cantabrana. Welcome to the team Luis! One of MSA’s most recent hires, graduate civil engineer Luis Cantabrana, adds to the company’s growing Coachella Valley alumni roster. A graduate of Cathedral City High School, he attended College of the Desert before transferring and graduating in 2014 from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. As fate would have it, Luis became interested in Civil Engineering while in High School attending a national after school program called ACE (Architecture, Construction and Engineering). MSA took part in the mentor program at Cathedral City and Coachella Valley High School and Luis was mentored by Rodney Reed, a Senior Project Manager with the firm. During his free time, Luis enjoys maintaining a healthy lifestyle by taking advantage of the Coachella Valley’s local hiking trails, playing basketball at the local recreational center and training for races like the Palm Springs Tram Road Challenge and Turkey Trot. Living in the Coachella Valley also allows him to stay close to his family and to regularly attend sporting events of his nieces and nephews. As a CAD Technician, Luis is responsible for providing general engineering services and support to project managers and senior staff as it relates to water, sewer and storm drain design. While Luis works his way toward his E.I.T. and eventual P.E.
